Downloading and Installing (Mac OSX)

ReportAssist will work on 64-bit Apple Mountain Lion or above. It can also work on Lion with all the updates, but this is not supported.

  • 1. To download the program, first visit our web site reportassist.com.

    Or start the download directly by going to http://reportassist.com/downloads/ReportAssist.zip .

  • 2. Click on the download tab and double click on the for apple button in the middle of the page.

  • 3. Now in Finder select Downloads and double click on the ReportAssist icon.

  • 4. Most Mac computers will allow you to open the program at this point. However if your security settings are set to high you may see the warning that it is an unidentified developer.

  • 5. If you see this warning press CTRL on your keyboard whilst double-clicking the icon.

  • 6. Now click the 'Open' button .

  • 7. Alternatively you can go to you Macs settings and in 'Security & Privacy' set it to allow apps downloaded from 'Anywhere'.

  • 8. If the program is in your computers download folder you will see a special 'Run Menu'. The menu has 4 main options, we recommend you choose the 'Copy to Applications' option.
