At the end of each reporting period (usually at the end of the school year), you should make a backup of your reports. This should be done for a number of reasons, including:

  • The Past Reports system may not be a verbatim copy of what a report looked like in a previous year. The past report system tries to adapt to changes that are made to things like the school logo, teacher names, class names, subject names, etc - so if these are changed then so will the past reports.
  • If you cancel your subscription then, at a later date, you wish to view a past report then you may not be able to access it. However, if you do cancel then we allow the administrator to make a GDPR backup of the data so you can transfer it to whatever new system you may be using.

The best way to do this is by making a backup to PDF. This will allow you to keep exact copies on your own school computer that you can print or refer to at a later date.
