Adding portraits

ReportAssist has two different ways to add pupil portraits. Layouts will have to have portrait components added to them in order for you to see portraits in reports.

Local portraits

The fastest way is to let ReportAssist 'know' where the portraits are locally. Local portraits are only visible whilst at school.

  1. Click the 'Admin' toolbar icon, then select 'School details'.

• 

  2. Press the 'Pick local folder' button. Find the folder that contains your school portraits. The portraits should have the same filename as each pupils UPN number. If you choose a network drive that teachers have access to, then the teachers will also see the portraits.

  3. You should see the folder location discovered by using the 'Pick local folder' button. All the reports that you have portraits for in that folder should now display the portrait.

Uploaded portraits

The more time-consuming second way is to upload the portraits. Uploaded portraits take priority over local portraits.

To upload a portrait, simply drag the portrait file to one of the reports. It will be uploaded and allocated to the pupil that has that report.
